Block Watch board:

The Phoenix Block Watch Advisory Board will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Phoenix Police Department Chief's Conference Room, 620 W. Washington St., fourth floor.

A representative from the Maricopa County Attorney's Office and a juvenile court judge will speak about the community's role in helping the juvenile justice system function effectively.

The meeting is open to the public.

--> Arts volunteers sought:

The Arizona Commission on the Arts is looking for volunteers to survey public sculpture in the Phoenix area for the Arizona Save Outdoor Sculpture! project. A training session for volunteers will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Heard Museum, 22 E. Monte Vista Road.

Arizona SOS! is part of a national search to locate and document publicly accessible outdoor sculpture to develop a statewide database that will be available to researchers, scholars, artists and the general public.

--> Bashas' offers immunizations:

Bashas' HealthStyles clinics will offer flu shots through the end of October.

Vaccinations will be given from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday at 16th Street and Bethany Home Road; from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday at 32nd Street and Shea Boulevard; and from 7 to 11 a.m. Oct. 29 at Tatum Boulevard and Bell Road.

Shots cost $10 or $8 for seniors. Pneumonia shots also are available for $15, and tetanus/diphtheria shots cost $10.

--> Osco giving flu shots:

Flu shots will be given through Nov. 14 at local Osco Drug stores. Shots will be administered by representatives of the Community Nursing Service in 34 Osco stores in the greater Phoenix area.

Cost is $8. Those receiving shots will be given a coupon for $5 off their next prescription at Osco. Check your nearest Osco Drug pharmacy for a list of locations, dates and times when shots will be available.

--> Chiropractors helping food bank:

Donate six cans of food at Phoenician Chiropractic from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and you will receive a free spinal adjustment, spinal exam, two X-rays and a consultation with a doctor.
